I spoke with a few teams about this at Autosport, but none of the teams there really had the info... What we're after is the max speed of the track in the enduro and what is the speed people cross the line on the sprint in? I ask this because the top speed of our new car is likely to be around 55mph. I'm pretty sure we'll vmax it on the acceleration, but will we keep hitting the limiter on the enduro? No plans to take this car to Oz, japan or detroit yet, just data for Bruntingthorpe please...

I've got the honda GPS plot for bruntingthorpe (from 2003 i think). Max speed on the on the enduro was around 60mph. Speed across the line in the sprint is just under 40mph.
I've got to go for an exam now, but if you email me then i'll reply with the gps data attatched later.

I'd appreciate a copy too please David! simon[-at-]warwickmotorsport .co.uk.
Jon, why is your gearing such that you expect to top out on the acceleration run?
Data from our benchmark test in October (before we dismantled the car) shows us reaching 50mph in the acceleration test with a rubbish fuel map and very old tyres on a 5.5 second run.

were gonna be running the yamaha wr450 engine this year and believe we can package it better by mounting it longitudinally, using a quad shaft diff... therefore with no changes to any of the gearing our top speed will be similar to a quad bike - about 55mph. We spoke a bit with x-trac and a few others at autosport about the feasibility of getting a different final drive, but we'd rather keep it all stock.
