Steering Racks

Hi,

does anyone know what type of regulations are in place for the steering rack? As in do the FIA approved products pass the judges testing? What do other teams use in their designs? Any help is much appreciated!

Have a look at the rule book.
Also it would be good if the steering rack was placed at the front end of the chassis and connected to both the front wheels.
They normally have a rack and pinion gear system in as well.
