Is there a way we can make the forum block every post that has the words "heaven" or "jesus" in them?
One would think these posts would drop to the bottom of the list quickly, but someone always posts and bitches so they jump to the top again.

It is getting out of hand lately, there probably have been 10-15 threads this year.

Why can't the threads just be deleted, no comments, no warnings, just toss them. I don't see the one from a few days ago so maybe you already pulled the plug - good. What bugs me is how they think they're helping their cause by pushing so hard - all it does is backfire on them.

but what about posts like "holy jesus that ______ [insert school here] team has a fast car"

or "thank heaven my wheel didn't fall off in enduro"


maybe i'm just being difficult, but it seems a little unreasonable to ban the use of those words. What would be better is if people just all stopped replying to those threads (and well, threads about those threads....)

I'm a moderator.
I can only close a topic – I can't delete them.
I don't have permissions to ban people or IP addresses either.

I've emailed Admin about helping to stop the spam. I think they're quietly working on it.
The old spam is not around if you search for it.

I closed the newest Jesus spam thread yesterday within an hour of it showing up.

So, for now, I'll lock the threads as soon as I see them.
You guys will all ignore them and maybe help bump them down the list.

Im also a moderator with limited access just like James.
When i do see those type of topic, i can only delete it but i cant block anybody's IP.
