Hey,

Just watched Charlie's Auburn FSAE-A vid and I'm filled with fresh enthusiasm for this year's event. The quality of competition in '03 was great and I can only expect it to improve. We will turn up as always with a hugely improved car- our experience working with composite materials has really paid off over the last 3 years!
Cheers to Auburn for the vid- definitely one of the tidyest cars at the event. We came second in endurance time-wise and 1st in Endurance overall (incl. Fuel consumption).

The 2004 track looks like a treat- much more potential than the traditional flat cone-fest style track.

Haven't noticed this forum before- looks like a good place to keep things in perspective and compare notes.

Looking forward to Melbourne!

Glad you enjoy the video!

NSW definitely flew 'under the radar' last year. You guys had a fast car, but didn't get much recognition. That is a great motivational tool for sure. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif And I'm sure you'll come out strong in 04.

Wish we could make it back. But the new team has big plans and needs some development time to pull them all off. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Don't tell me there are elevation changes.... that's just too badass. Maybe we can still make it. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Flying under the Radar is what we do best. Unfortunately we did it too well last year - the judges messed up our ranking by something like 5 places (!?!) and it wasn't until months after the comp that they confirmed that we had actually made it 1st overall in Endurance and 2nd in Aus!

Hope your team does make it out again sometime soon - I really enjoyed watching your car run.

All the best for this year!
