Ok, where can we get one of these, I know someone will post an obvious link, but I searched everywhere! All the caps I found where upwards of $80. I remember once seeing one for around $30. In this picture, I think the roll-over check valve was added.

Jack, step out of the computer lab, walk down the hall towards the shop, when you get to the shop turn right, walk another ~40ft...

Thats a Pro-Werks fuel cap, try Speedmart in Burlington: http://www.speedmartinc.com/

If they don't have them I got one in Federal Way from Honest Performance

Judging from the paint scheme, I'm pretty sure that's Carnegie Mellon

carnegie mellon's car ain't that red, and we don't use 100 anyway.

i'm going to say cornell, but its not their 2004 because it had a big rectangular hole for the filler neck.

and its a prowerks cap, don't you people all have chassis shop catalogs?

Red and blue, I would guess Kansas. How could it be Cornell with 100? Havent they always run alcohol. Im with Prometheus on this one, we rarely buy anything from them, but dont you have a chassis shop catalogue. As for the ProWerks cap, those things are sold almost everywhere.

Perhaps the funniest reply I have seen in a while. Nice one, Travis.

I thought the car was UNM at first, but their filler was vertical I think. I have no more guesses.

Well done Nick. You must have the same sickness as us.

Of course I do, have the sickness that is. I have done my best to steel all the good ideas of other teams for the last year and compile them onto our car so we would have the best designs from all the other schools http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. Kansas was just one of the schools sites that I have scoured over for the past 4 years. I dont know how good I have been at it though. I designed our tripods into our rear uprights this year and thought it was original, but for the last 4-5 months I have stumbled onto other teams that have already done it. Damn it, I hate when you feel like you come up with something totally original only to find out others have already been doing. Sorry for the rant. Good luck to everyone, and see you in Detroit.

i will admit that i'm the treasurer and have thus been in charge of ordering everything, but if you can come up with a minor race-oriented item on the car, chances are we've purchased it from chassis shop. and if i'd been lazier, instead of just copying individual catalog pages into the cost report, i'd have stuck the whole catalog in the back. it is, after all, 3-hole punched.

Is it bad that I'm the KU team captain and I didn't recognize our 2004 car? The colors didn't look right or something........

Nick, does this mean we'll see a pull-rod, front monoshock on your car next year?
