Test Engineer

Diesel engine testing and verification and patents

For a customer in Maryland we are now looking for several test engineers with experience from automotive engines.

Contract length 6-12 months.

-Description

Participate in different size projects as a fully competent and independent test and validation engineer.

Emissions testing and calibration of engine control systems on heavy duty diesel engines.

-Requirements

Knowledge of MatLab and ATI Vision or other engine calibration software

Diesel engine testing and calibration experience

Internal combustion engine fundamentals

Above experience will ideally involve after treatment systems knowledge, including system functionality software and control theory.

B.Sc. degree with relevant experience

Good teamwork and communication skills

Ability to take ownership

I would like to clarify that the 6-12 months is just the time period to which the customer extends contracts. It doesn't mean the position is terminated after that period of time.
