I have searched trying to find durometer numbers for popular FSAE tires. I was just wondering if you all had some numbers off your tires that you would share, so I do not have to call all of the manufactors and ask. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Try to contact Ruaidhri Gleeson. He spoke with me some words about tire hardnesses in UK last summer.

If I remember the best Tyres were about 40-45 shore (Avon and Hoosier). Our were pretty hard (about 60 Shore, 2 year old goodyear), but some teams also had wery hard tyres with 70-75 Shore.

German speaking tams also can get super soft Continental tyres made specialy for FSAE. They have a c.f. more than 2.0! But they made only a limited set of them and noone else can get them.
