MMC Brake Rotors

Has anyone used functionally gradient MMC brake rotors? I have been doing a lot of research on them lately but would like to know more in regards to determining the gradient amounts throughout the rotor, and also the performance of them once put to the test.

I really have nothing significant to say regarding your original question, as I have no physical experience with MMCs.

However, just going from experience, I highly doubt anyone uses/has used MMC rotors due to their extreme cost and limited availability. It's likely not worth the cost to get the performance gains they would provide. Especially in the temperature and load ranges these cars operate in. I believe MMCs are used for high strength/stiffness applications or for consistent performance over large temperature ranges.
