I am interested in the F1 tornado calipers produced by The Brake Man, but the min rotor width is .25". Is there anyway to modify calipers so that a smaller width rotor would still work? I don't think merely getting thicker brake pads is an option.

The min rotor thickness is likely only an issue as your brake pads approach minimum thickness. So long as your pads are nice and thick, you're good to go.
