Does anyone know of a company that sells 8" shocks. I am really having a lot of trouble finding some that aren't going to cost us an arm or a leg.

Risse Racing and fox shocks are probally your cheapest bet. We use risse, and for the price, i would have to say they are not bad. If you have more money...then there are better alternatives.

We've been having our own headaches in shock considerations and it seems like most schools that use the risse shocks have sponsorship or discounts of some sort to get the price from this:

, which would be more expensive than FOX
To something $100-$200, which is a steal.
Does anyone remember who they talked to?
BTW, as to what shocks to use, I think the proper way is to use car shocks&springs, but since the availability of that is fairly low and they're also heavier than bike shocks, doing custom would be the best way to go for a car shocks setup.
Thanks a bunch
Horace
