Air restrictor question

hi,i´m having problems with my engine(a lot of power =] )...my cart team said to install an air restrictor,but all them blow or melty.
whats the best composition(casted iron,aluminium,bronze....) to build an air restrictor??

Sounds like you need to fix your throttle actuator. Check your throttle actuators controller and verify it has balls.

thanks...but on the competition rules they say i have to isntall an air restrictor...but i don´t know how can i made that...plz help me!

We have used Fiberglass, or Carbon Fiber layed up on an Aluminum plug. Some teams make them out of Alumunim, but most teams use composites
