Just wanted to give a large thanks to the University of Warwick team and their supporters from the Warwick Manufacturing Group as well as the Engineering College for their great amount of support so far since we have been in the UK for almost a week now.

The Cincinnati team really appreciates the hospitality and welcoming given for our trip across the pond. They have been kind enough to get us to the airport to pick up our spare engine, supply us with oil, and provide transportation to get CO2 as well as brake fluid to prepare for the competition. Also, they have been kind enough to help us transport our car and supplies to the local test track so that we can continue with testing and tuning up until the race and not have to get a trailer to haul the crate around.

The beer is definitely good here, but man, when is it going to stop pissing rain all the time?!? http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

NEVER! I had my girlfriend (yeh, she stayed with me!) over in Ireland last week for Graduation and it was raining and sunny at the same time (aka a Sunshower) and she thought it was freaky! 4 Seasons in one day!

We are looking forward to getting over...praying for rain as we have had a few set up days for that!

I can happily say that today, it did not rain, and made for an excellent qualifying day at the British GP. Looks like it is going to be a hell of a race tomorrow with McLaren and Ferrari leading things...

Let's hope the nice weather stays for Formula Student... http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Hey,
I am on the University of Akrons FSAE team, we have been here for just about a week as well.
I was wondering if any of the guys from either Warwick or the University of Cincinnati could tell me where you got your CO2 bottles filled here in the UK. We have had a hard time trying to find a place to fill them.

There is a place in Warwick called Adventure Sports. They will fill your bottles up for 2 pounds per bottle. Most paintball shops will be able to help you out though. Make sure you put your bottles in the freezer! (Thats how they like them)
