to anyone who has done 2part moulds for wings. I'm guessing its only monash though....
once the carbon is out of the mould in two halves, when joining them together did you use anything to strengthen the mid section to prevent the possibility of the wing crushing

If you can take a look at Competition Car Composites book. The author has an explanation how he made his wing and I remember from the picture he had a few supports down the span.

this is one way we have done it, the other is 2D wire cut white foam.
