Where is the best place to position the caliper?
As in top front, top back, bottom front or bottom back and why?

To quote Mark Ortiz Automotive (http://www.auto-ware.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=597&an=0&page=0#597), "for least bearing loads with an outboard brake, the caliper should be somewhere in the...lower rear quadrant"

wherever is most structurally sound. We mount it low so it can be closer to the upright (less deflection).

Lower rear you may get load reversal, something to keep in mind. It's only an issue if you have a lot of slop in the system.
