Hello, I have a question regarding eligibility. I am register to begin university in the fall of 2011. Can I work with an FSAE team prior to starting my first day of classes?

He may be asking if he'll be eligible to participate at competition (like a driver).


Check the rules. It's in there.

Well the rules do state 'enrolled'.

I ask because the current group feels my participation may go against the rules.

contact the rules comity, they are the only one you can answer the question.

I would say if you will be enrolled within a couple months, and will be enrolled before competition it should be fine. About the same thing as people that graduated within the 8 months of competition still driving at comp.
