Formula SAE Electric 2013 - Rules

Does anybody have news about the rules for the 2013 Formula Electric Competition? We have already started designing our car, but we need to know the maximum voltage and battery capacity that will be allowed.

The maximum voltage level is still under discussion.
It is very likely that there will be no maximum battery capacity.
Regarding all other aspects I suggest to refer to the FSE2012 electric rules.

Will that be a seperate competition, or a second class in Lincoln or Michigan? If this competition is before July, it would be nice if 2012 FSE cars were allowed.

Hi Thomas,
it will be parallel to the combustion competition in Lincoln, therefore it will definitely be before July.
It is, in my opinion, very likely, that you will be able to attend the competition with a car which was built to FSE2012 rules (as said before, the maximum voltage level has not been determined yet).
