when i make a number of assemblies and want to make one assembly to contain all the other the assemblies dont come with their mates they come as a one block can any one help me with that

As a matter of fact I can. Right click the assembly in the Feature tee and select component properties (the far right of the right-click window) and select "solve as flexible". Solidworks automatically fixes all subassemblies to save memory. Make sure your computer has enough computer power and ram to handle all those extra mates though, especially the ones that arent fully constrained, ie bolts and nuts that can freely spin.
