So Igor, more details on this years challenger?

It appears to be a successor to Tokyo Denki http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Single, I assume, what displacement??

And THE question, what does this beauty weigh?

No, they're using stones. Sadly this year their car weighs 1800 pounds...

It's actually 127 Delfts. They had to invent thier own units so they didn't have to measure thier weight reductions in thousandths anymore. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Impressive guys, but the real question isn't how much does it weigh, but is it ready to kick some butt on the track! Good luck! http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If you guys can get as much horsepower out of that motor as rmit it might just change the face of fsae.

I'd be interested to know how stiff the tub and uprights are.

Anyway good luck at formula student, i'm sure we will hear all about the car.

That's awesome guys. Hope it runs this year.

I think the battle of the Yamaha 450 singles (RMIT vs. Delft) could be one of the most interesting of the competition.

Testing has shown that this year the intake manifold doesn't explode all the time, so that should help a lot in keeping the car running.
From what I've heard power output isn't all that great (no more supercharger like last year), but the weather forecast predicts a wet race so that shouldn't be much of a problem. Except for me, as I'll be driving my motorcycle there..... It's time to move the competition to the south of France http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
