Hi guys,
we want to test LC0 "rain" tires. But I can't find anybody who offers such service! I called hoosier, the hoosier canadian distributor, a few places here in Quebec Canada, but nobody does that anymore.
Any idea?
I've seen Competition Tire West carve Hoosiers at MIS.
You can also carve your own tires for testing (carving irons are cheap to purchase and easy to use), but will violate T6.4.1 at competition.

I saw them do it in the trailer (so it was several years ago). it probably depends on who you talk to and when/where they are.
Also, there are a couple guys running prototype tire shops that will carve nearly anything you want. The concept tires that are frequently seen on show cars will be carved by these guys. Competition legality is a bit of a grey area though.

We tried going there a few weeks ago, but they were charging more than we were willing to pay.
