MoTec Ignition Coils

I was planning on getting the 2 Denso 580 coils to spark my v-twin out of the 2005 motec catalog. Rumor has it that they are the same ones on gm ls2 engines. I went to a delearship but all they had was ac/delco part numbers. I can get them for free from denso if I can give them the denso part number off the coil. Anyone have/use these things.

AC Delco part # 12558948. Rumour seems to have it they are Denso coils as well.source (http://www.canardaviation.com/cozy/chap23d.htm)
