We use the Innovate Motorsports Lm-1. It costs about $350US.

Innovate has also built the new LC-1 which uses the controller out of the LM-1, and houses the whole thing into a cable. Its only about $200 and if you have some way to display the data outputted from it, its a cheap way to get a nice wideband (or 4 :-D).

I'm using a Tech Edge system I picked up pretty cheap off of Ebay. I've got it hooked up to my PE ECU to data log. I think they sell build it yourself kits off of their website http://www.techedge.com.au/ good luck

AEM makes a pretty cheap unit as well.

also the sensors for it are cheap...and dont require calibration.

zeitronix has a pretty good setup, more readout features than the innovative one if i remember right, and for about the same price.
uses a bosch sensor

That Zeitronix unit is pretty slick...

Only an extra $79 over the price of the LC-1, and it comes with that nifty display. Outputs data to a laptop for datalogging, also configured to take a K-type EGT thermocouple without any extra hardware.

Without the megasquirt to do all those extra features for me, I would've sprung for that instead of the LC-1.

I'm using the PLX R500, from PLXdevices.com.

So far, i've only used the Lambda, and 1 speed channel, but it has much more logging capability. When you graduate and get a real job, you get to buy toys that you didn't have while on the team.

They have different models, with EGT, Knock, and GForce Sensors available. The M series is a little different/cheaper and offers wireless support. The R500/and the new 300 use USB, have a sampling rate of 10Hz,and up to 4 analog 0-5v and 2 speed channels. The software works pretty well. And it uses the Bosch sensor that we already used with our AEM setup. For a stand alone logging system, it's working pretty well.

The R500 is roughly $600 with the 02 sensor.
The R300 is $450.
The M300 is only $315, and the M250 is $260.

Support on their forums has been helpful.
I've been running mine in my daily driver troubleshooting a fuel problem for about a month now.

I have used the Inovate product and it worked well, but the add ons for RPM/signal logging weren't availbable to us, and like most products, it only uses serial port. The PLX stuff compares nicely to this.
The AEM unit always worked well, but we had an AEM ECU to connect for datalogging. otherwise you need a guage/your own logging?

The PLX also has 'narrow band' feedback to use on a stock ecu.
My only complaint is that the screen is hard to read in direct sunlight, and impossible with polarized glasses/helmet. But it does connect directly to a computer for real time viewing, and it has a bright warning light that you can set so you aren't trying to read it while speeding down a busy road.
