Hello to everyone,
We are a rookie team with limited budget who will be running our FZR 250 engine (in-line four 19,000 RPM 250cc) in stock carburetor trim.I've been aware of people using carburetor set-ups before or even now when they take their older cars out for practice.Do you think we can use the standard motorcycle fuel pump set-up with no problems(now that the fuel tank is lower than the carbs)? If yes can we thread the pump inputs and outputs to accept threaded Aeroquip style connections as mandated by the rules? Can you give any advice on carb set-up procedure?
Any people with experience on 250 in line motors such as the FZR or CBR please feel free to offer your help here or by privete e-mail.
Thank you for your help and for keeping this an extremely useful and friendly webplace to be.
