why do you need our help?

is there something preventing you from researching this on your own?

And what the hell is hiss enable/disable?!

It all depends on where the bike came from. HISS is the security system on the foreign-market f4i's, I don't think it's present on the US models

Probably the best thing to do is to just switch to an aftermarket ECU.

Repeatoffender, that response is totally uncalled for! Get in there and delete it!

Sure, we get irritated by questions that get asked again and again, but there is no need to be rude and offensive.

There are no CB600s sold in India so lord knows where AIOUS' engine came from. I think his enquiry about 'HISS' is perfectly acceptable. He quoted an engine number and asked if the engine had a Honda Immobiliser System. I certainly dont know and no Honda dealer in India can tell him.
Yep, a reasonable request for help.

If the engine does have HISS, then AIOUS should be able to find out how to deal with it in the archives.

Finally PSUAlum06, where exactly do you source an aftermarket ECU in New Delhi where it is almost impossible to import something legitimately.

The Indian teams may occasionally irritate forum members, but there are times when a simple request deserves a simple answer.

AIOUS, sorry, but I have no idea whether your engine has an immobiliser system or not, but some information might be gained by researching sources at Honda and Keihin.

Cheers
Pat
