Hi!
We are running our 600RR 2003 for the second year and we are switching our old Tec3 for a PE ECU. We are designing a new intake too.
We need some detailed and exact spec of the RR to complete our simulation. These specs don't seem to be available on the web or in the shop manual. So if any are willing to share info or comments it would be great.
Missing Infos:
Rod Length
Port Diameter
Port Length
Lobe Lift
Flow of primary and secondary injector

If you have questions about RR (or F3!!) contact me, we have some data.
Thanks for the saved time!

Why don't you want to measure those yourself? if this is the second year then you should have one about.

Rod Length: 91.00mm

For the rest of your list I agree with Kyle, just take it apart.

Thanks for the info.
Yes, I could mesure all the stuff. But time I take to do that is time that I can't use on dyno. Moreover, it would be nice to have factory (or comparison) data to compare with our result on specs hard to measure with accuracy like flow or port lenght.

Of the 5 things you asked for, 3 are easy to find on google:

Rod Length
Lobe Lift
Flow of primary and secondary injector

The rod length and the lobe lift are easy to measure with a set of calipers. The flow is easy to measure with a 5 volt source, 2 buckets and a watch.

If you mean exhaust port, the length depends on where you measure it and what you are using it to calculate - the different measurements are used for different equations (i.e. shortest vs middle vs mean vs etc). I guess intake port is similar, though probably harder to get to.

I've never seen the exhaust port on a 600RR but I bet its circular and can be measured quickly with a set of inside mics.

Also - call any dealership and ask to speak to a technician - I bet you they know many of these numbers off the top of their head or have them readily accessible. Similarly you could call any race shop and ask them - if they make after-market replacement parts they should know the dimensions of the parts they are replacing.
