Hello FSAE teams,

As many of you may have heard, the University of Waterloo Formula Motorsports team has been banned by our school from competing at FSAE Michigan 2011. However, the team itself is still alive and kicking and we are trying very hard to make sure we can learn as much as we can to keep the team going for 2012 and beyond.

Seeing that so many of you have put in words of support has really warmed our hearts =D. Thus, we would like to ask all the teams competing at FSAE Michigan 2011 a big favour:

We would like to arrange for our younger members to form groups of 3 than will shadow other competing teams during the competition. We hope that by doing so, the younger members will still be able to experience and understand the spirit and lessons of Formula SAE.

If your team is willing to let our members shadow you during the competition, please drop us an email at uwfsae@gmail.com!

Also, if anyone has any questions or comments on this idea, please let us know too.

Thanks guys!

Hello again everyone!

I'm happy to say that we've now got enough teams that can take all of our younger members who would like to shadow a competing team. Thus, we have now stopped looking for more teams to help us in our plan.

Thank you all for your time, especially the teams that have graciously volunteered to help us!
