hi
my team is looking to make some improvments from our basic (overkill) safe rear end this year.
a major aspect of this is the Cv's we run, the current ones are the size of your average family home.
i was wondering what gear some of you guys are running with?

we noticed Monash and Swimbourne had pretty good looking rear ends.
just want to see whats out there and what works.

Thanks Adam

We get ours from Taylor Race Engineering, and I believe more than a handful of other schools also purchase parts from them.

Here would be my choice. I think the taylors are nice but most new teams do not have access to splining thier own shafts for the torsion diff so you can buy these and I believe they weigh around 6lbs and they can come in custom lengths. My 2 cents. http://www.rcvperformance.com/saeaxlekit.html

Pluse they will work with aluminium hubs.

Adam,
Here at UF we run the Taylor-race tripods. They recently came out with a lighter tripod housing you might be interested in. I couldn't ask for better tech support and genuine concern for our program. Feel free to e-mail me with questions about it.

Val, i'm from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Looks like you've got a couple different options. Good luck!
