Hi
Just wondering what the most reliable and commonly used type of fastener/screw is to mount bodywork onto the chassis. And are there different types of fixings depending on which part of the bodywork we want to mount?
Thanks

We currently use dzus tabs. I am not a fan of them, because they are sometimes troublesome to line up and get in place, but maybe that's just because last years bodywork was pieced together at the last minute, and the dzus tabs may not line up perfectly.

We use these for the entire body, nothing special is needed for different "parts".

They are kind of a pain to line up as Adam said, but since the flange is fairly large it covers most mistakes.

I've read about Camloc fasteners as well. Any thoughts on them? Are they better than the dzus ones?

I'm a big fan of Camloc. They're smaller, lighter, and work great... but they may also be a bit more expensive. Frankly, either one is fine as long as you know what you're doing when you set them up.

Which particular type of dzus/camloc fasteners do you use (dimensions) ? Does it depend on the thickness of the body part?

Aspa: The thickness range you are talking about is called the grip length which you will find in the specs
