Again I want to remind all teams of the extra sponsorship prize up for grabs this season. Let me know if you have any q's. A deadline has not yet been set.
We hope to be updating our website soon. Here is a sneak peak. http://www.thewheelstore.com There are a lot of pieces not listed yet that teams may want to take advantage of. We encourage you to call and we can get an explanation of the different options and directions we can help you with. Pricing is pretty close to the same even with the huge increases of material costs. We are still sponsoring teams with quantity orders and help out all teams that buy from Keizer with F-SAE specific pricing.
$1000 in wheel sponsorship will be available to the team that can best describe the effects of rotational wheel mass to the racecar in both engineering and laymen's terms. We would like to here the SAE teams take on how important rotational weight is in the racing wheels. We would like a reports to be broken into two different formats. The first, being an explanation that a lead engineer would understand and be familiar with. The second being in laments terms that the local Saturday night racer would comprehend and appreciate. We want this to be targeted towards the racer/eng of today. The Project is as simple as it sounds. There are no length requirements or guidelines other than this. Put a Good report together in whatever fashion you see gets your points across to both Engineer & Hillbilly alike and you could find your team with an extra $1000 in a wheel budget. All teams that participate will receive Keizer Wheels contingency prizes such as hats & shirts & gift certificates. Any questions concerning this project can be directed to Wade Huisman F-SAE Sales and Tech manager. 712-737-3053 We know this is going to be very hard to decide which team presents the best report. We look forward to all the good thoughts.
thanks again
