I love my Speicalized Rockhopper. It's a great starter frame for some wicked future mods.

Soon as I graduate, I plan on picking up either a new Buell XB12scg, or the new KTM CR8 superbike. I know Grant loves motorbikes and otherwise, anyone else? Post some of your photos!

Going on a ride tomorrow.
I'm a big two-wheeled fan.
I rode a 2001 F4i for 5 years, and over summer sold it to buy a 2003 Buell XB9R. In a couple weeks, I'm going to pick up a vintage '67 Honda 305 Scrambler (CL77).
Pedal powered, I ride an '05 Gary Fisher Sugar 4+ and a 2006 Trek 1500 road bike. Getting ready to go ride up Lookout Mountain right now...

That's the best road bike pic I have, yeah it sucks.
I'm also a big fan of renting downhill rigs at the ski resorts over the summer:

I've got a 2008 Specialized Allez that I'm in love with and a Jamis Dakar that is being neglected. I've had the roadie for a month and a half and put on over 200 miles so far. The best part of riding is passing everyone who is driving to campus http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.
Pics will come soon... I promise.
Is the road bike equipped with an "I Love Jugs" sticker yet?

I ride a 1986 (as old as me) honda cmx450.
And a POS Magna Excitor (bicycle) I got for next to nothing because my other one got stolen. It's really heavy (Steel frame the size of most of the aluminum framed bikes i see around), all of its parts are crap, it can't shift quite right, brakes barely work even when after adjusting (before that it didnt stop at all), plastic break levers i think i will break whenever i squeze them, A huge amount of rolling resistance, good tires(from what I hear, the bike is not worthy of them, everything is rusting... I could go on a while. After about a month ive gotten used to it though. And it's only a year old. The chinese should have spent the money on something other than that sorry excuse for a suspension, and it would be an ok bike im my opinion.

'86 VFR750FG Fairly rare in this country with the mid eighties 'harDley tax'
2000 CR250R - don't ride it nearly enough...to be honest at 26 i must have a much higher value on my life then i did when i was 19.
i'd really like to get a Beta Techno or Zero trials bike. My buddy has a rock crawler, and I think it'd be really fun to go with him with a trials bike, plus the speed reduction over the CR.
I have also owned at some point in time
1981 XR80
1978 RM125
1990 XR200
1981 CM400C
1994 CR250R
Add to my list a 2004 Honda CRF450R.
It stayed in dirtbike form for about 24 hours. Now it's half taken apart getting chassis measurements.
After incubating in the garage, it will emerge as a 450 Super Single race bike.

So much fun riding around like spiderman. Just don't get caught without a helmet kiddies! Best thing I ever did to it was to put on a set of Pirelli Super Corsas. Amazing.

Just put the Kenda Kinetics 26x2.6 on there for trail riding. I usually have Kenda Kross 1.8's on there for riding to campus.
Made the flashlight bracket because I'm not spending money on a light that is only for my bike. Why not use a nice Maglite?

A 2008 Bajaj Pulsar 220cc DTS-Fi. You probably haven't heard of it but this is one cool thing to have. One of the best performance bikes in India and a rare sight on the streets. 2 weeks old and more than 300 miles on it (500kms)

Well, the one two posts ago was stolen, after a marginally successful temporary motor conversion.
I've upgraded a bit: It's an economy bike, but it will keep up with my brother's Airborne on the singletracks and has been rock solid reliable for over 800 miles.

Just curious if anyone may measure the clearance from the crank arm to sprocket. This thread made me uncover my bike, but it has a couple of problems.
1. Needs heavy cleaning and lubrication.
2. The bicycle was left for years standing on it's deflated wheels so the tires' sidewalls are damaged.
3. A newly taught driver hit me while waving her arms around to move out of the way...so the crank arm is slightly bent and the sprocket shaft is slightly bent too. Can work but the front derailleur was bent several time being caught into my pants or shorts. I'm trying to fix it and adjust it but at the biggest gear the crank arm rubs into it. Btw, could anyone check the width between the inner and outer derailleur cage?
4. Rear wheel is not centered well because of mistakes I did while fiddling with it years ago.
5. The plastic mounts of the fenders has fatigued and one broke so I need to get new fenders.

Wow, there are some pretty nice toys in this thread.
I'm a huge road/XC guy. Sadly, I don't have any good pictures of my road bike. Its a Colnago Dream with a carbon Flash fork and full Dura Ace groupset. My XC rig is a Titus Racer X with lots of XT/XTR goodness, Crossmax wheels, Avid Black-Ops, etc. http://www.flickr.com/photos/60459994@N03/5516456288/

Pedal power for ever!
The road bike is a very old steel frame SAB with Shimano 105 mounted on the frame. Not a fantastic bike but you don't need a fantastic bike to climb the Dolomites.
The MTB is a hardtail alu frame Merida.
The very last entry is an alu frame road Moser mounting a Campagnolo group. So new that I haven't find time to ride it, yet!

did somebody mention bikes?
I have a Giant TCR One road bike, Ultegra groupo, ISM saddle, Profile Design aero bars (I use it for triathlons and such, no real road racing yet)
Also have a Wheeler hardtail MTB. Bought this years ago to commute on and now I take it into the forest every weekend and give it a bit of a hiding. Has held up remarkably well but I'm looking to upgrade it soon (might go for a full suspension bike if I'm feeling rich)
Also have a 1991 ZXR250, it's one of the old Japanese IL4 250 sportsbikes, quite fun to ring it out to 19,000rpm but pretty gutless and a bit on the small side...
just as well I also have an '03 CBR600RR. Relatively standard, just has a Two Brothers exhaust system and a bit of a tail tidy. I love this bike, so much fun to ride, relatively sedate at low RPM but a real monster when you thrash it.

Ahh ok, I'll go:
(edit* sorry about large image sizes)
MTB:
1 - Lahar M9, one of not many in existence... Fox 40s, DHX5, Avid brakes, Mavic rims, Rohloff gearhub.
http://forums.farkin.net/photo/data/500/medium/DazzLahar.JPG
2 - Specialized Big Hit, 02 or 03? My first DH bike. Now sporting a set of old Boxxer forks up front with a Mojo cartridge, Shimano gears.
3 - Craftworks S1, set of RC2 888's, Manitou Swinger shock, old Hayes brakes & Shimano.
Moto:
1 - CRF50, '03, BMX bars conversion with custom top triple clamp, custom exhaust and a unipod filter. Sounds about 10 times as mean as it actually is.
2 - RM250, '00, old faithful! ported, exhaust, re-valved suspension, lighting coil, rec-registered, rebuilt just about everything on the bike at least once. Planned electronic controlled power valve mod, and after recently borrowing a bike for my first 2 day desert ride looking at options for long range fuel tanks. Had this bike for a long time now, and while she aint the most comfortable or easiest bike to ride all day, when I get in the groove and the tunnel vision closes in on the track ahead - it's hard to beat that feeling. (now I want to go for a ride...)
3 - SV650, '09, currently stripped for uni project, bought it with a wrecked front end, plan is to fix it up after the project and ride it for a bit - only problem is I don't own any roadie gear.

Hey Chapo, yeah raced the Youies a few times on the DH bikes. But haven't been out there in a few years. Unfortunately the DH bikes are gathering a bit of dust, I’ve been meaning to clean up the Spec & Crafty to sell them for ages but haven’t gotten around to it. The Lahar is a bit special as it is so rare – I think I’ll hang on to it for the 1 or 2 times a year I do get out for a bit of DH. I actually feel a lot safer on the dirt bikes… Raced DH all over Vic, and also been to Hobart, Coffs Harbour and Thredbo for races, but I wrecked my knee at a National round in Tassie a few years ago and have only raced once since then. Youies have only just reopened after being closed for ages from flood damage, if you jump on the rotorburn website there’s a few pics of guys riding the new tracks.
Cheers.
