Hey Guys,

I wanted to know how much distance does a car cover if it goes for all the events
Acceleration = ? km
Endurance = ? km
Autocross = ? km
Skidpad = ? km
Anything else i am missing?

I cannot seem to find a document on the sae website for this.

Also, if anyone can share how many kms/miles does your car run in one liter/gallon of gas?

Thanks,

Rahim

Last year we averaged about 16MPG on the endurance course. If you want to measure it that way.

All the distances are in the rules.

You can calculate the km / gallon pretty easily as well with the fuel economy results.

Arg.

Just read the rules and you can figure out the distances. The track lengths are all listed (approximate) and/or the diameter is listed. Simple easy calculations.

it probably depends what competition you go to as well. At FSAE-A, for instance, the total distance would be a bit longer due to the 8 runs in autocross, the two runs through endurance (haha, not that many teams find themselves doing two complete endurances!), and the fact that every acceleration run requires a lap around the autocross/enduro track
