Hello all-

My name is George Furey, and I am with the Energy Club's EV Grand Prix team at Purdue. We are a new racing league with new rules, and lots of room for experimentation.

Info Here: http://www.evgrandprix.org/

Our team is looking to go with a differential on the rear wheels which will allow us appropriate torque to each wheel through the usage of small motor-generators.

I understand many FSAE teams use Torsen or Quaife brand torque-sensing differentials. Since our car is chain driven we would be using almost the same setup as in a FSAE car.

What I am looking for is any team that would be willing to sell a used torsen differential. Torsen supplies a "University Special" on their website and it would be the perfect diff for our application. I am also familiar that a casing must be designed to keep in the oil and also to hold the diff in place. I would also be interested in buying that.

Please post if would would like to get rid of an old torsen or quaife type diff, while making the extra cash in the process.

Thanks,

George Furey
