I know I caught hell for even mentioning it before but the calipers I designed have actually hit the market. I know longer work there but got my best friend a job there doing what I did. This is kind of cool to see stuff you make pop up in real life. Now only if I actually did something really cool. Designing these things was almost easy. Not that there is really any money to be made in such a flooded market, if I had to do it again I would have done them differently. But some of the decisions I didnt really have any control over. I was told to use a certain pad and to make a 8 piston caliper. And I love how these articles have no idea what they are talking about. They talk about all this piston area stuff and it doesnt mean shit. There was a physical contraint to how big the pistons could be and that it ended up equaling the piston area of the stock floater. The only thing that really improved was brake feel because floaters suck ass and they dropped 15lbs per corner over the cast iron set.
