Mapping of ECU

hi, i am new to this. i dont know how to map ECU for different engine parameters.
what short of programming we need to use.and how to load program in to the ECU chip.

what motor management system r u using ?

we have planned to use honda bike engine. 600cc.

we are having two options for buying ECU. first is from performance electronics.PE ECU 1,
and second, we are trying to purchase it from a local dealer.

being a first year team i suggest u to go for a pre built ecu and invest time in tuning it rather than building it . besides that search the net of popular ones like motec or other systems , they have have basic tuning material u can go through .

we have motec M800 and we took some help from motorsports industry to help us out with it....regarding programming and collecting data....i am not the engine guy , but for ECU u can mail my team captain arun...his id
