This was our FIRST drive, thats why we are going so slow, he prob only got into 2nd gear(of six) also it was raining and cold (45 degrees F), and we were on racing slicks

Honda CBR 600 F2 with Megasquirt

As the day went on we got it tuned better, unfortunately the camera died. When I was driving I had it up to 4th gear and 9000rpm and it was insane, Inovate wide band is in the mail.
Good luck and see everyone in MI

What kind of grass trimmer did your 90 degree box in your steering come out of? I made ours, but after working at a stihl shop for a couple years I thought about just using one too.

the angle drive is from andantex (http://www.andantex.com/anglgear.html). It's a little heavy but there's less than 3/4 degree of slop in it and it's stupid simple to integrate.

We're expecting rain in Wisconsin until we leave for competition on Tuesday so I guess we'll get our share of wet driving in.

my bad, they look an awful lot like bigger brush cutter gear heads. Our box might have half a degree of slop now, but I'd be willing to guess less than that. Sure beats a complex set of u joints.

Another test drive today, got to drive it thru campus roads to get to the test site, that was a blast, everything went well, but we left the fan on too long after a run and then we had to pop start it, then after that run the battery wouldnt take a charge...so hopefully its just the battery, car runs fine when attached to jumpers so not to worried.

I like your guy's pedal tray...

That seriously cracked me up...and then made me both hungry and sick to my stomach at the same time.

that had been floating around the shop after we brought food back, we needed a quick floor for testing brakes down a hill, and it fit with minor adjustment....brake test was great, didnt have the engine in, but pushing it down the hill gettin up to prob 15, I punched the brakes and the back wheels lifted off the ground prob 6"....wooot
