If this type of CV nut locking is used by us,
do we need to do any safety wiring over and above this?
(This type of locking is used in suzuki cars)

That should be an acceptable form of positive locking. You'll want to double check with the rules comittee for sure though.
You may want to look into castellated nuts with hitch pins or cotter pins, those nuts with the safety tab can only be used once, and then you will have to replace it.
In my experience you will need to take the outboard assemblies apart a number of times, not not having to replace the nut every time is convenient and cheaper.
Plus hammering out those safety tabs can be a pain!
