I was wondering what our different options are for suspension modeling software. We are a first year team and believe this could be of great benefit. Is there any companies out there that would donate this to us, or at least greatly discounted?

William C. Mitchell's WinGEO is pretty much the way to go, and he discounts for FSAE teams.

I'll second the WinGeo suggestion. It has odd error messages and a clunky interface, but very nice program to get useful information out of and to design with.

At CU we have 60 licenses of SolidWorks '05, along with the full COSMOSWorks '05 package(Static, Motion, and Fluid).

So our suspension guys have been modelling our stuff in Motion, keeping everything full integrated with the rest of our design and analysis suite.

Susprog 3D Fairly simple program to use. We use that in conjuction with ProE and a highly modified Claude Roulle WT table....
