In the latest Racecar Engineering there is an article on Formula SAE Australasia with a picture of a tiny diff. Next to the picture it says Is this the smallest differential in the world?
Does anyone know anything about it or where it is from?
Can you post a picture if you have it??

now I dont know for sure what that diff is, but it looks a lot like a viscous rear out of a subaru I took apart.

yea that is defiantly a viscous unit from a Subaru we have used one for 3 years in our cars. they work pretty well but seem to wear out in fsae cars very quickly. We're not using them this year because you can't get new ones anymore
