To help save UK teams some valuable pennies can any UK team who's planning on running Hoosier tyres this year please contact me on racing@herts.ac.uk. The more tyres we can get in a single order then the bigger the discount... simple eh!

Who told you that? I just asked them the same question and they said we only get the 20% discount.

I had a chat with the UK distributor at the Autosport show and the initial FS discount was 10% and would be greater with more quantity. Was it the UK distributor you contacted?

Hi Howard,

if you can arrange a group order, getting them from the US is probably cheaper. I assume you could save even more by having them sent by ship, but this can take two months.

There is 20% discount for international teams, but shipping from the US to Egypt costs $405 a set of 20x7-13 which costs $160 each. That is 60% of the tires' price. Still evaluating the orders but the tires and rims cost will exceed $1000 easily each. Still 20% tariffs + 10% taxes.

if we can negotiate a 20% discount then we'll be no worse off than having to ship the tyres direct from the US given the shipping, import duty and VAT.
