Only if you align the master cylinder with Orion's belt.

Yes they are, but you have to check back with the organizers/rules responsibles from the respective event to suit their safety requirements.

Most racing ABS systems have a disable switch.

Exactly.
At FSG for example you have to do the brake test twice:
At the first time with de-activated ABS to show that your brakes are able to lock wheels.
The second time with activated ABS to show that it works in general.

Hi to all i just wanted to ask that has it ever happened that by mistake the ABS was applied automatically means (malfunctioning.)

How do you define malfunction?
If you only have an ABS function in place then it is only able to lower the brake pressure and not apply brake pressure (that would be ESP).
The worst failure in this case is probably that the valves stay open and no pressure is left in the system. In this case it would be necessary to de-activate the power supply since the valves are usually built in a normally-closed way. We coupled the power-supply of the ABS with the Cockpit-Mounted Master Switch for that reason.

We never had such a failure though, but we were/are using an industrial proven ABS with modified firmware which de-activates itself whenever something seems to be wrong with the setup/sensors etc.

Tobias
