Hi I used the organ pipe theory for my runner length and helmholtz estimation for my ram pipe length im havin trouble finding a size for my plenum though can anybody help? I found this site for ram induction theory and im wondering im is it accurate? http://home.earthlink.net/~red...ulse_ram/theory.html (http://home.earthlink.net/%7Eredcat/pulse_ram/theory.html)

any help would be greatly appreciated
regards Andrew

The plenum volume will have an effect on your peak power and its position (RPM). You should try to make an impendance model to really verify the effect of your volume on those two parameters. A rule of thumb I have been using is stay between 2 and 4 times your engine displacement. Under that, your high-end power will suffer and over that you will have no throttle response at low rpm. Hope it could help.
