Im after some high quality M30 size castle or slotted nuts to hold the front hubs onto our splindle, and am struggling to find a supplier. Does anyone know a good place to get these from in the UK?
Cheers, Steve
skf should have a distributor, or any bearing house will usually carry the lock nuts as well

Well I looked on the SKF website and they appear only to sell bearings, no nuts. Tried a bearing house I used before too with no luck.http://img27.photobucket.com/albums/v81/steve-o7628/castlenut.jpg
Are the nuts like that in the picture above custom made or something? If anyone knows where to source these nuts please be kind and let me know! Cheers, Steve

I don't know what size they are, but there are some castle nuts holding the wheel bearings on the rear stub axles on my VW Polo. I would expect most cars to use something similar.

Those Honda road bikes with single sided rear swingarms (VFR400/750, RS250, NSR250) used to have some pretty big castle nuts holding the wheels on from memory. I think we used to use a 41mm socket for them, so they could be around M30 size. Oh, and Ducati 748/916 etc etc. It's a long time ago so I might be wrong, but could be worth a try.
