Hi,
I came across a technical paper which gives some information about wheel lift in racig during cornering. It says that 'it is desirable to resuce weight transfer on driven wheels'...Could anyone explain the reason for this??

As your tire's normal force increases, your normalized lateral force (coefficient of friction) decreases. While you will gain some lateral grip on the outside tire, you will always lose more grip on the inside tire reducing your total lateral grip.
