Hey,

We have both kodiak and Keiser wheel here and it seems we have a very hard time keeping the air pressure right without air chamber. We asked to Keiser if it could be faulty/worn wheels but they told us it was most likely due to "riming monkey".

We are riming our tire at a local shop (the main tire reseller in the area). I know a lot of teams use DIY tire rimmers. Is the use of glue essential, do the silicon seal needs to be replaced if it's not totally perfect?

I'm sure some teams ran into these issues so if you could share it please!

Thank you!

Our tires don't hold air for crap either, I think the sidewalls are just to stiff and have a tendancy to pull away, I would also be intereted to hear how ppl seal them up.

Clean surfaces and initial over pressure to 'seat' (like 40-80 psi) the tire before setting to your running pressure...

Might try finding your leak with the old soap and water method to decide if its a rim or the shell seam that is leaking.
