I am researching different methods or ideas for assembly tolerancing of a carbon fiber chassis. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish the fact that many parts have to be precisely assembled during chassis fabrication? Thank you.

Word.
I'm surprised more schools don't teach GD&T. It's kind of what mechanical assembly design is based on, so it's pretty important.

Well, GD&T does not guarantee that your part will be "as designed". And that is the big thing, that kendan is all about I guess. I think you must make sure that your team certifies the accuracy of all those guys that make your parts, wheter these are on the team, or on some company you asked to manufacto a part for you, and that is called quality management, which is a verydifficult ansd frustrating part of project management which we all face during construction. How often does your team get al it's dimensions correct first time? Not that often I would guess. That's always a problem with prototypes, no learning curves are involved!!! So just trying to follow a general standard won't guarantee a good product!
