Wet Cell Battery

IC4.4.2 Any wet-cell battery located in the driver compartment must be enclosed in a nonconductive marinetype container or equivalent.

I am unclear of whether an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM)constitute a wet cell battery?

AGM batteries (I.E. Odyssey) are typically sealed and shouldn't need such a container.
