Unfortunately, there is no LINKS page on the FSAE.com website, so I'm going to try to put one together to help everyone. I'm asking for help with website links to part manufacturers/suppliers. The plan is to have links for drivetrain, engine, intake and exhaust, oils and fluids, electronics, engine management, data acquisition, suspension and dampers, chassis, brakes, body, rims/wheels, and tires.
This one is drivetrain. If you know of anymore drivetrain options, please reply with a website link.

When I called last year, they weren't giving discounts to FSAE teams because of unfavorable exchange rates. But they have given discounts in the past.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a supportive GKN dealer I'd appreciate it. I have tried via their main website which is http://www.gkndriveline.com but they have been rather useless.
Thanks,
John

I talked to a GKN rep personally at the 2003 SEMA in Las Vegas, and he said that they would not sell directly to FSAE teams because Taylor Racing sells there tripods for them to FSAE teams.
If you can successfully buy them from GKN directly, please reply to this post.

Try http://www.truechoice.com, but give them a call. It looks like the website isn't finished with all the features. I have a PDF page from their 2003 catalog, pg 97 that has a bunch of GKN parts.

Hi there,
K&A Motorsport in Adelaide, South Australia make some nice tripod joints for Formula Ford that are well suited to FSAE. They are generally hard anodised aluminium, but they do also do steel ones. They also do the driveshafts to suit in any length you like.
