Freshmen asks for assistance.
I have a throttle ,the inner diameter is 35mm. Does it affects the efficiency of turbocharged engine? The engine is cbr600rr and there is 20mm limiting valve. And what is the best diameter of throttle for this turbocharged engine ?

Thanks so much for your answers. http://fsae.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I would suggest doing some back of the envelope calculations or looking into other teams rather than trying to find handouts.

Look up typical sizes of throttle bodies and start there. I promise someone else has done this before, and a bit of research would likely yield you some ballpark answers.

Good luck

The best diameter is the one that makes the most power. Or has the least pressure drop. Or allows good modulation. Or increases efficiency. Or...

Well. I guess it depends on what you think is best.

I'll default to 42. It's the answer to everything. And it will work.
