I am trying to produce calculations of volumetric efficiency from my wave model is there a simple plot I can generate or do I have to plot density mass flow rate and then calculate the volumetric efficiency using this data in another program

I've only just started using the software, but I'm pretty sure it is very easy to plot VE. I'm pretty sure if you set up your simulation right that you can right-click on the engine block icon in WavePost, then Add Sweep Plot>Breathing>Total Volumetric Efficiency vs.>RPM

VE is plotted automatically. Just go into WAVEPost, then sweep plots, engine, performance, breathing, VE

VE is a parameter that can be directly plotted, you can also do it by individual cylinder if you like.
