Wow, that's awful. It just goes to show you how dangerous this business of ours really is. I hope no one out there is deterred by this news from participating in FSAE or any other form of motorsport. What it good is life if you can't enjoy it by doing the things you love the most?

I'll elaborate. It is indeed a very tragic death. I knew Andrew and we spoke many times seeing as he was a fellow student interested in building vehicles. He was 21 and going into third year after doing a work term.
Investigators are still working on it, but so far, the only news is that he lost control and went into oncoming traffic.
The Formula Racing team extends its thoughts to our sister Solar Car team and the family and friends of Andrew Frow. May he rest in peace.
