C'mon now, really?! To begin with, the top one is a multi-link arrangement and not an a-arm. For the rest, draw a FBD and try to figure out loadpaths....

Neither of them look very good.

For one, they are made in MSpaint, and I have never seen pixels hold up very well on a real race car.

For everything else?
+1 to mech5496.

For one, the upper one is going to be very interesting on the front end of the car. It might get a little difficult to steer.

For another, if this is the rear end of the car, then the bottom one provides no toe stiffness at all (i.e., turns the rear wheel into a caster). I enjoy driving a loose car but it might be a bit too loose with this setup.

Ok, You have been posting these kind of threads for a while now.

1. there is a find function in the forum and mostly what you are looking for has already been asked, just know what you are looking for.

2. what is your situation, are you a first year team? someone interested? a junior in a team? you will probably get nicer responses if a)you actually explain your situation b) have a clue about what you are asking for.

if you would like to know where to start anyone here will be looking to help you and i would recommend you have a look at the sticky threads in the forum first as they would be of great guidance.
